چکیده

Sustainable development and environmental pollution have become valuable stimulating factors for the resource recovery of end-of-life products through reverse logistics. E-waste is considered in Electronic waste solely responsible hazards contains raw materials that can be recycled/repaired, so logistics essential to minimizing their inappropriate disposal. This paper presents mathematical model multi-electronic products, considering multi-manufacturers multi-retailers. After product, network collects e-waste return processors where testing, sorting, disassembling are carried out then sent repair recycling units. Components not repaired/recycled shipped secondary manufacturer as materials. An electronic product’s supply chain employed incorporate idea nullification. The fixed point iteration technique used solve proposed model. A numerical example analyzed demonstrate model’s efficacy total cost minimized. validity usefulness reducing validated managerial insights into sensitivity analysis key factors. policy suggests nullification strategy might a useful apparatus managers ensuring long-term sustainability.

Reverse Supply Chain Management and Electronic Waste Recycling: A Multitiered Network Equilibrium Framework for E-Cycling

In this paper, we develop an integrated framework for the modeling of reverse supply chain management of electronic waste, which includes recycling. We describe the behavior of the various decision-makers, consisting of the sources of electronic waste, the recyclers, the processors, as well as the consumers associated with the demand markets for the distinct products. We construct the multitier...

Considering chain to chain competition in forward and reverse logistics of a dynamic and integrated supply chain network design problem

In this paper, a bi-objective model is presented for dynamic and integrated network design of a new entrant competitive closed-loop supply chain. To consider dynamism and integration in the network design problem, multiple long-term periods are regarded during planning horizon, so that each long-term period includes several short-term periods. Furthermore, a chain to chain competition between t...

Reverse logistics systems for waste generated throughout vehicles life-cycle

Waste produced during the service life of automobiles has received much less attention than end-of-life vehicles themselves. In this paper, we deal with the set up of a reverse logistics system for the collection and treatment of use-phase residues. First, the type of waste arising during vehicles’ service life is characterized. Data were collected in collaboration with SIGRAUTO, the product st...
